PROGRAM

At the 1st, 2nd and 3rd level, two pieces have to be interpreted: one corresponds to free election and the other should be chosen between the proposed pieces.

In 4th and 5th level, the pieces will correspond to every point according to the indicated styles.

 1º LEVEL

- KABALEVSKI: Five Variations on a popular russian song op. 51 nº1

- BARTOK: Estudy (c minor) "Le repertoire du pianiste pour les premières années- Poco forte" E. H. Lemoine

- A. GRETCHANINOFF: Valse Que ne suis-je grand "Le repertoire du pianiste pour les premières années- Poco forte" E. H. Lemoine

 2º LEVEL

- SCHUMANN: "Kinder Sonata" op. 118a, 2º mov: Theme with variations

- BURGMÜLLER: Estudy op. 109 nº 10

- TCHAIKOVSKY: "Album for the youth" op.39 nº 14, Polka

3º LEVEL

- MOZART: Sonata 330i (331) A Major, 1º mov: Theme with variations

- MENDELSSOHN: "Songs without words" op. 67 nº 4

- TURINA: "Gypsy dances 1st series" op. 55 nº 5, Sacromonte

4º LEVEL (max. 35 min)

- To choose from two options: 1 piece from the baroque period, or 1 piece of the classic period (1st mouvement of a sonata will be admitted).

       - 1 romantic piece.

       - 1 piece of free election. 

5º NIVEL

First round (max. 30 min)

      - 1º mov. of classic sonata.

      - 1 virtuos study.

     - 1 piece of free election.

Semi-final (max. 45 min)

 To present program chosen by the competitor which pieces of different styles.

( This pieces must be different to the ones presented in the First round, only in the case where a full Sonata is presented, a repeated piece interpretation will be accepted.)

 Final concerto with orchestra

To choose from two options:

- 1º mov. from Concert nº 23 KV 488 in A Major of Mozart.
- 1º mov. from Concerto nº 1 op. 15 in C Major of Beethoven.
